On the street where we live

Collaboration is complicated, exciting, and more often than not, rewarding for all involved. This final point is strongly dependent on agreed mutual benefits and costs. Those conversations usually take the joy and excitement out of creating and exploring collaborations, but this small gesture, acts as an essential olive branch.

On this collaborative journey, there are literally hordes of talented people, all equipped with energy and ideas, what a huge honor to be in such an environment!

Because of this great gift, this creative cauldron can get murky, and the risks of tiptoeing around important issues can mean quiet complacency where compromise is needed, and missed opportunities for innovation where borders are being explored. With this project, we are reminded to listen, to hear, and to explore.

Dry Run Studio is extending the complexities of collaboration beyond the behind the scenes range with our Bridge project. Taking our work into the community, our art works are actions. We are facilitating conversations which we are also taking part in, as community members, as citizens.

Through these community engagement works, Dry Run Studio wants to reach out and stick art where it belongs, where it thrives: in all of us.
