Sarah Frydenlund is an artist researcher living and working in Northeast Iowa and Southern Minnesota. 

Frydenlund established a fine art teaching studio and artist network in Cheltenham, UK where she lived and worked until 2011. Recently, she has developed projects with theatre performances, installations, and design for curriculum. Interested in spatial and social theory, and the engagement of research on the teaching and learning of creative practice in both community and academic settings, Frydenlund actively writes for and on art practice. 

Frydenlund has recently been adjunct faculty in Visual and Performing Arts at Luther College for foundations courses in Visual Art.
